Miss Lianne Secured 100/100 in Science

for the First time in the history of Curtorim, Miss Lianne Secured 100/100 in Science (highest in Goa for SSCE,March 2010) and 99/100 in Mathematics (again Highest in Goa, SSCE, March 2010). Miss Lianne Mearle Moniz secured 92% Overall percentage in SSCE board exams March 2010 from Our Lady of Carmel High School, Carminagar, Curtorim. The other toppers were Miss Crisha Diniz, Miss Reema Mascarenhas and Miss Yogita Gawas

The PTA and the Management in a joint function today felicitated the Meritous four Distinction Holders at the hands of Curtorim MLA Mr. Reginaldo Lourenco.

Mr. Reginaldo congratulated Miss Lianne and other students for their splendid effort and that too to achieve a rare 100/100 from a village school. He also complimented the Manager, Headmaster and the teachers for their efforts and encouraged the batch of this year to emulate the performance of this year. Mr Reginaldlo said such performaning schools deserved to grow and assured all the possibe help in the infrasturture development of the school.

The Manager Fr Anthony Rodrigues also spoke. The Headmaster Mr. Quintilao Faleiro welcomed the gathering of students and parents, while PTA acting secretary Mrs Mikelina Dias proposed vote of thanks.
